LOCAL DENTAL GROUP ENCOURAGES HEALTH LIVING AND “TREATS” OUR TROOPS THROUGH CANDY BUYBACK PROGRAM

Phoenix, Oct 27 --Three offices in Phoenix – West Thomas Family Dental (W. Thomas and 48th Ave), Unlimited Smiles (51st Ave) and Smile Makers (Chandler) will host Halloween candy buyback programs in their respective offices.  The candy collected will go to Soldiers Angels, a non-profit organization that seeks to send comfort and love to our soldiers by sending personalized care packages and letters.

“We want to “treat” our service men and women, while educating our community children that everything is good in moderation, but too much candy can lead to cavities and poor health. Sharing with the men and women in uniform will bring a bright, healthy smile to all of our faces” says a representative for Unlimited Smiles. “Our company philosophy is that we should live a healthy lifestyle and a healthy mouth is where it all starts! So of course we will include toothbrushes, toothpaste and floss with our care packages for our service men and women and educating our children on proper brushing and flossing.

The buyback program will take place between Tuesday, Nov. 1 and Saturday, Nov 5.  Children will be able to sell their candy at $1 per pound with a 5-pound limit during business hours.

Dr. Alireza Moheb, CEO of Unlimited Smiles, tells us, “This is our first year participating in the program. We want to make it a huge success for our children because they will see the benefit of giving back while simultaneously experiencing the benefit of living a healthy lifestyle. It’s a win-win! We couldn’t be more excited about this opportunity to do something for our service men and women and our community.”
